📋 Description

• Execute the external engagement strategy aligned to the therapeutic portfolio • Implement the external engagement plan aligned to therapy area strategies • Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision makers, and key stakeholders • Respond compliantly to unsolicited medical information requests • Disseminate important safety information to healthcare professionals • Conduct scientific exchange with HCPs on appropriate medicine use • Deliver scientific and pipeline presentations to formulary committees and HCPs • Maintain expertise in the evolving scientific/therapeutic area and competitor medicines and vaccines • Attend scientific and medical meetings and gather medical voice-of-the-customer insights • Support clinical development activities, including GSK and Investigator-sponsored studies • Collaborate with R&D staff to improve site performance • Provide insight into GSK research interests and field inquiries about research projects • Meet with steering committee members, advisory board members, consultants, and clinical research investigators • Provide scientific training for GSK sales representatives • Train individual HCPs to speak on behalf of GSK and assist with speaker training events • Partner with sales, marketing, market access, and other matrix colleagues on patient- and business-focused strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., DNP, or MD with a medical or clinical focus • Two or more years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans • Experience practically applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge in a clinical setting • Must live within the specified territory • Residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical/pharmaceutical practice setting preferred • Pharmaceutical industry or medical liaison experience preferred • Specific therapeutic area experience is a plus • Previous clinical experience involving direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care preferred • Above-average computer literacy and experience with software applications preferred
