📋 Description

• Build and maintain partnerships with recognized community and academic medical center KOLs in Rare Dermatology across the West Coast • Identify and develop national, regional, and local thought leaders for medical education, clinical research, and publication opportunities • Cultivate and identify KOL relationships for advisory boards, company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, and speaker development • Provide field insights to managers and internal teams • Identify opportunities and provide scientific education and medical support to healthcare professionals at key institutions • Foster professional relationships within assigned geography • Facilitate cross-functional engagement based on customer needs • Represent Chiesi USA Medical Affairs at national, regional, and local scientific meetings • Support company-sponsored clinical research, investigator-initiated trials, and collaborative initiatives • Deliver medical education presentations in varied settings • Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence in accordance with company policies • Participate in internal therapeutic advisory groups • Plan with business partners to optimize customer experience • Lead and support internal medical projects and cross-functional projects • Contribute to clinical research, medical education materials, and internal training • Contribute to monthly medical meetings, journal clubs, and team meetings • Mentor and support onboarding of new team members • Complete field activity documentation, expense reports, administrative reports, and required training • Maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and professional licensing/certifications

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a graduate-level degree such as PharmD, M.D., D.O., DNP, PhD, MSN, MS, or equivalent healthcare professional degree • Relevant clinical experience • 5–7 years of MSL experience in the assigned rare-disease area; exception for PhD candidates with requisite experience • Strategic internal and external relationship-building skills • Ability to work effectively on diverse, multidisciplinary teams • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision • Scientific and clinical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area • Exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic, and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to convey complex scientific ideas fluently to varied audiences • Ability to provide scientifically sound information to KOLs and HCPs • Active listening and insightful questioning skills • Ability to state expert opinions diplomatically while maintaining evidence-based credibility • Ability to cultivate strong internal and external working relationships • Ability to travel up to 75% as necessary • Ability to maintain any professional licensing/certifications
