📋 Description

• Service inbound corporate travel requests in a virtual call center environment • Provide extraordinary customer service to Altour clients • Greet all clients with enthusiasm • Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process • Quote and book accurate domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations • Complete all reservations accurately and timely • Follow Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act • Secure the lowest available air, car, and hotel rates at time of booking • Utilize client and Altour negotiated programs when applicable • Utilize GDS low fare search capabilities • Maintain productivity goals measured by transactions per day • Maintain quality goals measured by minimal customer service issues • Maintain customer experience goals measured through call monitoring performance • Proactively support peers and assist with decision-making • Escalate issues to a leader when appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Must pass GDS assessment • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM • 5 years’ travel selling experience • 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry • Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach • Excellent travel industry knowledge • Mastery in Amadeus GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, and pricing • Corporate travel experience required • Experience in international travel bookings and process • Experience handling multiple accounts • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to embrace change and adapt • Strong understanding of own skill set and development opportunities • Ability to take direction, offer suggestions, and ask for appropriate guidance • Demonstrates exceptional teamwork • Ability to act as a leader among peers • Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders when appropriate • Ability to handle difficult situations with minimal guidance • Ability to support peers in decision making • Knows when to escalate to a leader • Strong understanding of key Altour initiatives and strong change management skills
