• Facilitate professional and accurate travel arrangements for VIP clients • Provide a high level of customer service in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment • Work the 11 AM–8 PM ET shift • Complete air, hotel, car rental, train, tour, and ground arrangements at the lowest possible price within corporate travel guidelines • Follow and suggest improvements to company procedures covering customer service, PNR and profile documentation, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, and accuracy • Maintain ownership of each record until departure, ensuring seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades, and other details are completed satisfactorily • Research and resolve travel-related problems with management awareness and participation • Apply airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements accurately • Participate in training opportunities • Maintain Sabre proficiency through relevant training • Handle rerouting and exchange processes • Stay current on technology and industry knowledge, including ALTOUR intranet tools • Include management in problem resolution • Assist other agents on the account • Perform office functions and improve operational efficiency • Perform other duties as assigned
• Overall travel industry knowledge and experience • Excellent communication skills • 7–10 years of Sabre computer knowledge and proficiency • Minimum 7+ years industry experience • Competent with all aspects of ticketing transactions • Proficient with international itineraries and rate structures • Knowledge of online booking tools • Experience with premium travelers • Attention to detail, conscientiousness, and flexibility • Problem-solving and initiative • Interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills • Willingness to learn new functions and enhance existing skills • Patience and flexibility • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality • Ability to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to complex tasks • Ability to understand words, respond effectively, analyze information, write reports, comprehend complex issues, and communicate effectively to diverse groups • Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements • Occasional travel may be required, including client meetings, conferences, strategic planning, industry events, and internal events
