📋 Description

• Support Active Minds’ Development team in fundraising activities that support the nonprofit’s mission • Conduct outreach to donors, students, and partners • Plan special events • Perform data entry and data hygiene • Prepare fundraising campaigns • Conduct donor prospect research • Prospect corporate partners and foundations and draft proposals • Create content for newsletters, donor letters, and fundraising pages • Collaborate on projects with other teams • Connect with staff across the organization to learn more about their work • Support nationwide fundraising initiatives for Active Minds’ network of 800 campuses, workplaces, and communities

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a current college student or recent college graduate • Must be currently enrolled in, or have previously attended, a U.S.-based college or university • Must be able to complete work authorization (I-9) during onboarding • Must be able to complete the entirety of the internship from February 1st, 2027 through April 23rd, 2027 • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines • Team player with a willingness to learn • Marketing, business, and/or customer service skills • Experience with college or other fundraising is a plus • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, and Dropbox • Must reside in the United States • Must work 20 hours per week on a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in their local time zone
