📋 Description

• Formulate machine learning problems through production delivery • Define features, model and scoring logic, and evaluation methods • Build and ship monitored production machine learning models • Predict user roles and classify activity from behavioral event data • Develop cross-account benchmarking using aggregate usage patterns • Make tradeoffs among model sophistication, business value, reliability, latency/cost, and iteration speed • Partner with Data Engineers to turn models and analysis into durable, scalable production systems • Own ongoing model performance in production and improve models over time • Collaborate across model and platform boundaries when production issues span both areas • Work as an individual contributor without people-management responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years bringing machine learning to production at scale • Strong Python and production-grade software engineering practices, including testing, code review, and version control • Experience with classification/prediction problems on behavioral, event, or user activity data • Strong SQL and comfort working directly against production data sources • Experience with feature engineering, including defining, standardizing, and validating features for production models • Experience monitoring model quality after deployment and responding to drift or degradation • Time series analysis and/or hidden state models preferred • Parallel dataframes such as Dask or Spark preferred • Experience with layered/medallion-style data architecture preferred • Feature store experience preferred • Cloud environment experience with GCP or AWS preferred • Comfort with Docker and Kubernetes preferred
