📋 Description

• Prescribe medication to patients to assist them in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making positive changes for psychiatric well-being • Prepare and maintain required treatment records and reports to satisfy Joint Commission accreditation, insurance payers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health Operations Manual requirements • Evaluate clients’ physical or mental conditions based on review of client information • Collaborate with staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans • Refer patients, clients, or family members to ABH IOP, community resources, or specialists as necessary • Modify treatment activities or approaches in response to changes in clients’ status • Complete administrative documentation for every client, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing documentation • Coordinate prescriptive clinical services with Adjuvant’s clinical guidance • Report to the ABH Supervising Psychiatrist

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution • ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification • Hold a valid DEA • NP or APRN with PMHNP certification (Psych/Mental Cert) preferred • Ability to provide prescriptive clinical services and psychiatric medication management • Ability to prepare and maintain treatment records and reports for Joint Commission accreditation, insurance payers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health operations requirements • Ability to evaluate clients’ physical or mental condition based on client information • Ability to collaborate on clinical assessments and treatment plans • Ability to complete administrative documentation, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing documentation
