📋 Description

• Participate in virtual design and coordination meetings, supporting projects from concept through completion • Create and update accurate 2D and 3D CAD/Revit drawings and design deliverables • Produce mechanical schematics, line and single-line diagrams, rack elevations, room layouts, and routing plans • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and implementation teams to confirm project details • Document building and room layouts, cable conveyance paths, power requirements, infrastructure, plenum and non-plenum spaces, and signal and transport formats • Apply ASG drafting standards, cable color codes, labeling, and documentation best practices • Assist with creating and reviewing Bills of Materials • Conduct design quality reviews and correct discrepancies before installation • Produce installation-ready wire lists, cable pull sheets, and final design packages • Maintain red-line changes and incorporate field updates • Support engineering and integration teams with design-related solutions throughout the project lifecycle • Ensure documentation meets ASG standards and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design, or a related technical field—or equivalent professional experience • Minimum of 3 years producing mechanical CAD drawings for AV, low-voltage, or systems integration projects • Mastery of AutoCAD and Revit • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and related documentation tools • Working knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, and structured cabling infrastructure • Familiarity with construction and installation documentation standards • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Sharp attention to detail and strong time management • Ability to thrive remotely • Required hands-on experience using Revit, as indicated by the application question • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is located • Must address whether employer sponsorship will be required • Required CAD drawing portfolio/work samples
