📋 Description

• Support colocation and hyperscale data center projects from site due diligence and campus planning through design, construction documents, and construction administration • Support the Design Manager in daily project coordination across disciplines • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes • Capture technical notes and coordinate with discipline leads to confirm accuracy • Attend client and stakeholder meetings and track decisions, risks, and action items • Assist with tracking, managing, and communicating project changes • Grow into serving as backup to the Design Manager • Coordinate internal and external design meetings using client communication platforms • Track action items and follow up with internal teams • Distribute client communications and internal updates • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, and tracking logs • Update spreadsheets, dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools • Assist with specification edits, data entry, and internal reporting updates • Develop tracking mechanisms and suggest process improvements • Manage project files across SharePoint, MS Teams, Google Drive, and Box • Prepare and store QA/QC sets, daily prints, and deliverables • Assemble and organize final deliverables before submission • Support Design and Project Managers with technical and financial proposals for data center projects

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • 2+ years of experience working in A/E firms • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License preferred • 4 years of relevant experience in design and/or project management preferred • 1 year in colocation and/or hyperscale data center design management or engineering preferred • Excellent written and oral communication and organization skills • Ability to work in dynamic, time-sensitive situations • Must be able to work remotely from a variety of locations in the United States where AECOM has an office • Sponsorship is not available • Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location • Occasional, advance-scheduled travel may be required
