📋 Description

• Oversee the performance of major environmental remediation programs and projects • Drive program performance to meet or exceed client satisfaction targets and internal/client-facing KPIs • Identify and proactively address governance and risk management issues • Develop solutions to client problems and issues • Review program/project dashboards and deep dives to identify issues and improve performance • Drive adoption of digital tools and integrate international Enterprise Capabilities into project delivery • Manage high-quality client projects and continue executing billable work • Share people-management responsibilities for approximately 50 department staff • Build and maintain relationships with contacts across three multinational chemical company client organizations • Serve as a focal point for major issue resolution and follow up on client concerns • Support feedback, succession planning, recruiting, training, mentoring, and coaching of project managers and team members • Evaluate individual performance of project managers • Collaborate with client account managers, practice area leaders, and business line leadership to grow profitable backlog • Develop budgets for business development portfolio management, bookings, and project oversight • Lead capture strategies for key pursuits and major projects • Escalate project issues and address resourcing, technical, invoicing, cash collection, subconsultant, and vendor concerns • Drive project management practices aligned with AECOM Project Delivery System and Quality Management System requirements • Ensure accurate workload planning, pricing compliance, approval framework compliance, Salesforce pipeline data, and detailed forecasts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Must pass a background check • Must pass a motor vehicle records check • US citizenship or permanent residency required • Sponsorship is not offered now or in the future • Master's Degree preferred • 15 years of related experience preferred • California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence others toward a common vision or goal • Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations • Resilient and tenacious, with a propensity to persevere • Ability to work collaboratively and as a team player • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges • Strong knowledge and track record in environmental/remediation business • Experience with risk-based strategic asset management and advocacy across multiple state jurisdictions for an environmental consultant
