📋 Description

• Plan, participate in, and lead various styles of audit programs • Conduct and lead EHS compliance audits • Conduct and lead process safety management and risk management program audits • Conduct and lead supply chain due diligence and risk audits • Conduct and lead waste receiving facility audits • Develop permitting and EHS compliance strategies for client project development • Coordinate development and management of client EHS compliance programs for facility construction and operation • Coordinate and oversee EHS compliance tasks for clients • Develop and deliver EHS training • Interpret EHS laws and regulations and develop compliance strategies • Maintain and communicate knowledge of current and emerging USEPA, OSHA, and state EHS requirements • Develop business presentations and proposals for EHS consulting services • Build and maintain client relationships • Grow the existing business base through client outreach and professional relationships • Mentor, guide, and coach less-experienced staff • Travel 50% to 75% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS plus 8 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Minimum 8 years of experience conducting EHS regulatory compliance audit fieldwork • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review • US Citizenship required • EHS compliance auditing experience • Excellent knowledge of Federal, State, County/Regional, and Local EHS regulations and consensus standards • Knowledge of OSHA Compliance, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, RCRA, Oil Pollution Act, EPCRA, CERCLA, FIFRA, and TSCA • Advanced degree in engineering, physical sciences, safety, or related field preferred • 10 years of EHS experience in relevant consulting or industrial sectors preferred • Experience managing EHS programs, compliance audits, and compliance program evaluations • Experience planning and permitting development/construction projects • Experience developing and managing EHS compliance programs • Experience delivering EHS training to industrial clients • Professional certification such as CPEA, PE, CSP, or CIH preferred • Experience with CFATS, DOT, REACH, ISO/RC 14001, and ISO 45001 • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Proven leadership and management skills • Proven success in business development for EHS programs • Ability to obtain US Government security clearances • Sponsorship is not available • Relocation is not available • Ability to travel 50% to 75% of the time
