📋 Description

• Work with engineers, support representatives, and external auditors on SOC2, CMMC, and FedRAMP audit activities • Perform senior-level auditing and advisory work to develop audit programs and processes • Conduct research, benchmarking, and reviews of records and financial statements • Perform data and risk analyses, identify controls, assess business processes, and evaluate management processes • Manage audit scope development, external auditor selection, and annual audit completion • Collect operational documentation and data samples to close process gaps or document accepted risk • Maintain relationships with external auditors and anticipate changes in audit focus • Educate the organization on audit requirements, risk analysis, and controls • Integrate audit best practices into the operational framework • Identify and document corrective actions based on audit reports • Respond to client requests for process documentation and audit reports • Track changes to CUECs from partners and vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Experience auditing in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and risk-based internal auditing • Knowledge of basic information technology controls in a cloud environment • Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data, policies, and procedures for audit work • Experience establishing and maintaining trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Advanced writing and communication skills • Willingness to apply skills across a small organization, from process documentation to organizational audit plans • Willingness to help maintain the organization’s culture and values • Some experience with DOD cybersecurity requirements and contracts, such as NIST 800-171, is a plus • Some experience with FedRAMP requirements is a plus
