• Manage ITS, TSMO, TMC, traffic operations, and transportation technology projects from planning through implementation and closeout • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and staffing assignments • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, operations, technology, field services, and subcontractor teams • Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and deliverables • Support proposals, client pursuits, project interviews, and business development • Manage ITS infrastructure, communications networks, traffic signal systems, traffic management systems, and technology platforms • Oversee CCTV, DMS, detection systems, traveler information systems, connected devices, field investigations, testing, deployment, and operational acceptance • Manage data integration, interoperability, asset management, performance monitoring, and operational reporting initiatives • Support emerging technologies, cloud applications, analytics, and connected transportation systems • Manage TMC operations, TSMO, regional traffic operations, operational assessments, procedures, workflows, and reporting • Coordinate with DOTs, local governments, MPOs, public safety, law enforcement, emergency management, and other stakeholders • Support operations during special events, emergencies, severe weather, and other operational situations • Manage signal operations, corridor management, signal timing, performance evaluations, ATSPM reviews, and modernization initiatives • Serve as project manager and primary client contact • Lead meetings, workshops, presentations, and stakeholder coordination • Build client relationships and identify project growth opportunities • Lead and mentor ITS engineers, traffic engineers, operations specialists, technicians, and project staff • Provide technical oversight and quality review • Support staff development, recruiting, staffing, and resource planning
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Transportation, Engineering Technology, or a related field • 8 years of progressive experience in ITS, traffic operations, TMC operations, transportation technology, transportation systems integration, traffic signal systems, or equivalent experience and/or education • Experience managing transportation technology, ITS, traffic operations, or transportation infrastructure projects • Experience working with state DOTs, local governments, transportation agencies, and operational stakeholders • Proficiency in transportation technologies, communications systems, operational software platforms, and ITS infrastructure • Leadership and project management experience • Valid US Driver’s License required • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review • Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, or equivalent professional certification preferred • Experience with TMC operations, TSMO programs, traffic signal operations, ITS communications networks, transportation technology integration, operational analytics, asset management systems, transportation data platforms, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, reporting systems, data integration, or cloud-based transportation applications preferred • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available
