📋 Description

• Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures • Execute detailed and routine engineering tasks, including preparing structural calculations • Propose approaches to solve new problems and escalate appropriately • Identify and communicate discrepancies in results and support resolution with the team • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop solutions and support client needs • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with moderate supervision • Document work clearly through calculations, markups, and redlines to support quality reviews and project records • Contribute to multidisciplinary projects for heavy industrial, steam, thermal power generation, and advanced nuclear technology clients • Coordinate with team members across disciplines while supporting quality, budget, and schedule commitments

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred • Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) progress toward licensure encouraged • Experience preparing structural calculations and basic design deliverables, such as plans, details, and reports • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, dynamic environment • Familiarity with common structural analysis and documentation tools • Prior experience supporting senior engineers on the design of open structures • Understanding and experience in civil and structural design and principles • No sponsorship for US employment authorization is available now or in the future • Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
