âą Serve as the primary real estate lead for assigned renewable energy projects throughout the development lifecycle âą Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external real estate vendors âą Build and maintain relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, consultants, legal counsel, and project teams âą Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and communicate updates to internal and executive stakeholders âą Coordinate external counsel and third-party consultants âą Mentor and guide Real Estate Analysts âą Draft, review, and negotiate leases, easements, purchase and sale agreements, landowner estoppels, SNDAs, rights-of-way, licenses, and governmental and third-party agreements âą Support negotiation and execution of mineral rights and curative documents âą Manage vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, Task Orders, Change Orders, and NDAs âą Manage title and survey processes and review title commitments, exceptions, title insurance policies, endorsements, and curative matters âą Coordinate and review ALTA surveys âą Conduct real estate due diligence for project acquisitions and M&A transactions âą Evaluate project risks and prepare executive-level summaries with findings, liabilities, and mitigation strategies âą Collaborate with permitting teams on regulatory filings and project approvals âą Track real estate permit conditions and project compliance requirements âą Review project layouts and solar facility designs to identify real estate risks and solutions âą Create exhibits, mapping deliverables, and KMZ files âą Maintain project databases, trackers, summaries, and reporting tools âą Coordinate purchase orders and payment approvals âą Support construction debt financing and tax equity transactions
âą Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience âą Experience managing commercial real estate transactions, project development activities, or real estate due diligence âą Experience reviewing and coordinating title, survey, land acquisition, or property-related deliverables âą Ability to interpret legal agreements, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions âą Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills âą Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving project environment âą Experience supporting renewable energy, infrastructure, utility, or large-scale development projects preferred âą Experience with project acquisitions, financial closings, construction financing, or tax equity transactions preferred âą Familiarity with title insurance, ALTA surveys, subdivision mapping requirements, and land use considerations preferred âą Experience working with governmental agencies, permitting teams, or regulatory stakeholders preferred âą Knowledge of GIS or mapping tools and project management systems preferred âą Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Procore, Ironclad, BlueBeam, SAP Fiori, SAP Concur, or QuickBase preferred
