📋 Description

• Write and edit engaging scripts for list-style YouTube videos of 800–5,000 words • Craft irresistible introductions that hook viewers within the first 30 seconds • Structure scripts to maximize audience retention throughout each video • Research topics and fact-check content • Collaborate with the production team on titles, thumbnails, and pacing notes • Revise scripts based on performance data to improve effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube; channel links or samples required • Strong ability to craft hooks that capture viewer attention • Deep understanding of audience retention, including loops, payoffs, and pattern interrupts • Fast, clean writing with the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality • Strong editing skills and ruthless attention to every word • Ability to research topics and fact-check content for accuracy • Links to 2–3 YouTube channels or videos written for • Original List25-style intro writing sample of 150–200 words • Bonus: familiarity with List25's style or experience in the list/trivia genre • Nice to have: experience analyzing YouTube analytics • Nice to have: background in journalism, copywriting, or broadcast writing • Nice to have: passion for trivia, history, science, or pop culture
