📋 Description

• Design, engineer, integrate, implement, test, maintain, review, and administer infrastructure, hardware, and software for network security and risk posture. • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. • Translate cyber objectives, technology trends, and environmental conditions into engineering solutions. • Configure cyber systems to meet user requirements and security policies and standards. • Address complex cybersecurity problems using leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. • Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend significant changes. • Serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments with substantial autonomy. • Mentor or supervise junior employees in technical competencies. • Monitor market and technology trends and implement best-of-breed client solutions. • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS client sites as needed, approximately 15–25%.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in network and systems engineering roles. • Bachelor's Degree in a related field. • Current DoD Top Secret Clearance. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements and at least one of: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP. • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, least privilege access controls, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation. • Familiarity with Versa Networks is a plus. • Experience with network security solutions, including IDS and firewall configurations. • Proficiency in routing and switching technologies, particularly Juniper and Cisco hardware. • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting wireless networks. • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing protocols, configuration mappings, and network drawings. • Experience with BGP, static routing, IP multicast, and VPN technologies. • Experience with MS Windows operating systems and Active Directory. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Visio. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working in secure facilities and understanding high-side protocols, procedures, and security requirements. • Ability to travel approximately 15–25% to CONUS and OCONUS client sites. • Ability to take initiative and lead projects independently. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.
