📋 Description

• Work as part of an elite technician team on projects ranging from large events to Utilities customers and refinery turnarounds • Install, commission, service, and repair generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air systems • Troubleshoot equipment failures on Major Projects and in service centers • Calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements using mathematical formulas • Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals • Maintain and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations • Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, design proactive failure notifications, and support compliance

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • 4+ years' experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs • Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers • May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements • Valid driver’s license may be required • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs. • Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations, and be on standby outside regularly scheduled shifts • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods; walk over uneven terrain with functional balance • Functional range of motion to safely work from ground/floor level to full overhead level • Finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and functional grip strength • Must pass the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and post-offer physical abilities assessment • Ability to lift 60 lbs., push/pull 80 lbs., carry 60 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, climb while carrying 15 lbs., stoop, kneel, and squat
