📋 Description

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicle wash equipment and accessories • Troubleshoot fundamental electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems • Replace, repair, or adjust parts and systems as necessary • Inspect, calibrate, and check chemicals under supervision • Run equipment through cycles to verify basic system functioning • Advise customers on necessary service work and basic replacement recommendations • Inspect equipment to ensure proper function • Provide customers with basic equipment operation and maintenance information • Maintain positive customer relationships • Deliver parts or supplies to customers when needed • Complete work orders, expense reports, and daily/weekly time logs accurately • Maintain current knowledge through training seminars, manuals, and service bulletins • Maintain proper parts inventory on service vehicles • Comply with service policies, safety policies, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations • Keep the Service Manager informed of problems or difficulties • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Demonstrable interest and aptitude in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work through school or hobby interests, including using meters and ACDC power supply • Ability to use basic math and writing skills • Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations within the past five years • No more than two preventable, at-fault accidents within the past five years • No impaired driving convictions within the past five years and no charges currently pending • Ability to travel assigned geography daily • Ability to comprehend and interpret equipment, operating, and maintenance manuals and instructions • Basic computer skills and email communication • Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs. • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive hand motions, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods • Adequate sight to read blueprints, engineering documents, work orders, and field service documents
