📋 Description

• Designs and implements full-cycle software quality assurance programs for organizational or client/customer software products and services • Ensures testing and documentation methods meet industry standards and customer needs • Tests highly complex software programs and user interface tools • Re-programs software to correct complex problems or enhance software effectiveness, or refers issues to the software development team • Identifies discrepancies between software performance and technical documentation • Recommends methods to improve software product/service quality and functionality • Establishes and implements methods for testing and measuring software quality according to organizational and client/customer software development standards and guidelines • May design and lead client/customer user testing during the pre-production phase • Establishes and enforces quality-control processes for Government deliverables • Conducts independent reviews, manages corrective actions, and verifies contractual formatting, content, and approval requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Typically has a Bachelor's degree, and 6 - 8 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience • Each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required • Must have Secret clearance to start • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience with certifications applicable to the functional role • Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor • Establishes and enforces quality-control processes ensuring deliverables submitted to the Government are accurate, complete, compliant, internally consistent, and ready for acceptance • Conducts independent reviews, manages corrective actions, and verifies adherence to contractual formatting, content, and approval requirements
