📋 Description

• Create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for products, services, or processes, often in high-tech or specialized fields • Translate complex information into user manuals, guides, help files, white papers, and training materials for target audiences • Work closely with engineers, product developers, and subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance • Develop and maintain technical documents, plans, procedures, reports, and deliverable packages • Coordinate subject-matter-expert inputs • Apply document-control and quality standards before submission • Update documentation as products evolve • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Must have Secret clearance to start • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience, or certifications applicable to the functional role • Typically 3–5 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; each year of work experience may substitute for each year of education required • Excellent writing skills and keen attention to detail • Ability to quickly grasp intricate technical concepts • Proficiency with documentation tools • Understanding of XML, DITA, or other markup languages • Familiarity with graphics and publishing software • Knowledge of document-control and quality standards • Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC), Microsoft Office Specialist, or equivalent technical-writing certification applicable as relevant certification examples
