📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities across the genomics portfolio • Build demand, expand market presence, and accelerate customer adoption of genomics workflow solutions • Engage researchers, laboratory leadership, and key decision-makers across academic, government, biotech, pharmaceutical, and clinical research organizations • Act as the front end of the sales process • Uncover customer needs and promote technical solutions • Create qualified opportunities for the broader commercial team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales development, technical support, applications, or customer-facing roles within life sciences • Strong understanding of genomics, molecular biology, and next-generation sequencing workflows • Strong communication, relationship-building, and prospecting skills • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce • Ability to effectively engage both technical and senior executive stakeholders • Travel required 50% of the time
