📋 Description

• Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to gather requirements and translate business questions into structured, testable data questions • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and semantic models providing a consistent, governed view of performance • Write and optimize SQL using CTEs, window functions, and aggregations against production and unstructured data sources • Build reports and independently validate findings • Help lead the transition from Power BI-based reporting to Databricks/dbt • Build Operations-specific dbt models on top of governed data-engineering layers • Contribute to metric definitions and governance • Validate analyses, identify data-quality issues, and spot-check outputs against secondary sources • Maintain and improve automated data extracts used daily across Operations • Use AI tools to accelerate SQL, dbt, and dashboard development while verifying outputs • Document models, dashboards, and logic for maintainability • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in BI or analytics, including hands-on experience building SQL-based data models in production • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent practical experience • Strong SQL, including CTEs, window functions, and performant queries against large tables • Hands-on production experience building SQL-based transformation models using dbt or a comparable framework such as Dataform or SQLMesh on a modern cloud warehouse • Experience structuring staging and mart layers, testing models, and using version control • Direct experience building BI dashboards end-to-end using Power BI, Databricks, Looker or similar • Experience building dashboards with drill-downs, cross-filtering, and leading-indicator/threshold flags • Experience gathering and validating requirements directly from business stakeholders • Ability to investigate data anomalies and distinguish data, logic, and business-process issues • Ability to work independently in a still-forming data environment • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Bonus: experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, or a modern cloud data warehouse • Bonus: git/version control for analytics code • Bonus: background in manufacturing, robotics, or another operationally complex, high-growth environment • Bonus: experience with semantic layers or metric governance across multiple stakeholder teams • Current authorization to work in the United States
