• Assumes responsibilities of an electrical engineer performing design of LV, HV, EHV electrical power systems • Collaborates with a team of engineers and drafters to support substation engineering design projects • Developing single-line switching and protection diagrams • Creating equipment specifications and supporting procurement • Conducting required calculations and creating reports for AC and DC systems • Developing control panel layouts and wiring diagrams • Review and coordination of substation physical drawings and calculations
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering • Educational courses in power systems analysis, electrical machinery, etc. • 2+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV) • Highly motivated and able to execute tasks with adequate supervision. • Good written and verbal communications skills. • Skilled in engineering theories and principles. • Skilled in researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations.
