📋 Description

• Handle all facets of docketing, including calendaring deadlines in federal, appellate and state court cases nationwide • Review documents, correspondence, and e-mails to determine deadlines and apply applicable key code entries in the Firm’s docketing system • Respond to case teams to ensure that docket entries are accurate • Answer procedural questions related to date calculations • Assist in the investigation of docket issues and respond to procedural inquiries from attorneys • Electronically research court cases to maintain an accurate record • Learn and demonstrate knowledge of court rules and procedures in federal and state court jurisdictions, as well as various U.S. and international courts of arbitration • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Docketing Manager • Work under the direct supervision of the Docketing Manager • Provide docketing coverage for all U.S. jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree • 5-7 years of experience as a docket specialist • Proficient with rules based docketing • Computer proficient with advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) required • A detail oriented skill set and the ability to budget time efficiently while handling multiple tasks • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • The ability to interpret and analyze information • Experience with CompuLaw desired, but not required • Thorough knowledge of Bankruptcy courts (required)
