📋 Description

• Support the firm’s Illinois practice as an associate attorney • Manage assigned matters using the firm’s case management and reporting software • Apply civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation knowledge • Handle matters involving real estate, civil litigation, creditors’ rights, foreclosure, eviction, consumer protection, and related legal areas • Make required court appearances and undertake attendant travel • Provide superior client care and proactive communication • Collaborate with and mentor team members • Articulate complex legal concepts clearly • Contribute to the representation of institutional and private lenders

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a member and in good standing of the Illinois State Bar • Active membership of the Illinois Bar is required • 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice • Willingness and ability to proactively use the firm’s case management and reporting software • Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation • Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice • Court appearances and attendant travel required • Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication • Self-starter able to work collaboratively • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership abilities and mentoring focus • High analytical and problem-solving skills • Sound judgment in legal matters
