• Own the campaign calendar and production timelines across digital, SMS, and direct mail channels • Develop and maintain cross-functional timelines with internal teams, agency partners, and external vendors • Partner with the Head of Marketing to shape campaign engagement journeys across educational, advocacy, fundraising, and stewardship opportunities • Keep creative, data, and production deliverables on track from concept through launch • Identify and proactively escalate risks to campaign timelines or delivery • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for agency partners and consolidate feedback • Pull, segment, and manage audience lists for fundraising appeals, petitions, action alerts, newsletters, and event communications • Build, test, quality-assure, schedule, and deploy targeted email campaigns • Support list growth, segmentation, and targeting strategies • Produce performance reports across digital and mail channels, tracking revenue, engagement, and spend against goals • Analyze campaign results and identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities • Monitor A/B and multivariate testing results and translate findings into recommendations • Refine targeting, messaging, and channel strategy based on performance
• A bachelor's degree in communications or a related field is preferred • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 additional years of fundraising experience may be considered equivalent • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct response fundraising • Meaningful exposure to both digital and direct mail channels • Ability to manage complex production timelines across multiple concurrent campaigns • Experience coordinating internal teams and external agency partners • Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying campaigns in an email marketing platform; Engaging Networks preferred • Experience working with donor or supporter CRM systems; Salesforce preferred • Strong understanding of segmentation, audience targeting, and lifecycle marketing across donors and non-donor supporters • Comfort working with performance data and translating results into actionable insights • Demonstrated interest and experience with animal welfare issues • Commitment to the mission of the Animal Legal Defense Fund • Ability to travel periodically for staff meetings and retreats, estimated at 1–3 trips annually • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States
