📋 Description

• Own end-to-end engineering of Alight’s client-facing platforms and solutions across Health, Navigation, Wealth, and Leaves • Establish a cohesive, scalable platform and solution architecture across all product lines • Drive modernization, simplification, consolidation, reuse, and technical debt reduction • Ensure platforms are scalable, performant, resilient, secure, compliant, and cost-efficient • Define and execute a platform-first strategy using reusable, composable enterprise capabilities • Translate product strategy into scalable platform capabilities with Product leadership • Ensure solutions are deployable, operable, scalable, and production-ready with Delivery leadership • Align platform strategy with enterprise data and AI capabilities and enable AI/GenAI-powered experiences • Partner with Infrastructure, Operations, and Architecture leadership on build-to-run handoff and ongoing operability • Own platforms supporting client delivery, member experience, and revenue growth • Partner on client engagements involving platform capabilities, roadmaps, and innovation • Ensure solutions meet SLAs, performance expectations, and contractual commitments • Build and lead platform engineering and product-line solution engineering organizations • Establish accountability across platform, product, data, and delivery functions • Develop senior leadership talent and succession • Foster innovation, ownership, engineering excellence, and client focus

🎯 Requirements

• 20+ years of technology leadership experience in large-scale, enterprise environments • Proven experience leading platform engineering and client-facing solutions at scale • Experience with modern technology architectures, including cloud, APIs, microservices, data platforms, and AI/ML • Experience owning technology across multiple product lines or domains • Demonstrated ability to operate in matrixed environments with senior stakeholders • Track record of driving platform-led transformation and modernization • Must have work authorization in the United States that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Must successfully complete a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies • Virtual interviews must be conducted on video; camera-on participation may be required
