📋 Description

• Provide high-touch guidance through death-process details and serve as the single point of contact when a death is reported • Educate and act as a trusted partner throughout the death process • Handle inbound calls to assess needs and provide guidance • Identify the best form of communication throughout the death process • Identify and explain available benefits • Set clear expectations regarding information needed to process death claims through vendors • Coordinate gathering information required for filing claims, enrolling in applicable benefits and ensuring timely benefit distribution • Provide directives when additional information is needed for claim processing and coordinate with vendors • Document research, email and phone communication in the case management system • Facilitate vendor connections through warm transfers or contact information • Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Sound written and verbal communication skills • Excellent customer service and customer resolution skills • Flexibility and adaptability, with ability to reorganize priorities as business needs change • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • BenAdministration experience for one year or more is required • Basic understanding of industry terminology • Attention to detail, time management and decision-making skills • Ability to navigate multiple technical environments using different hardware and software platforms, including the Windows environment • School diploma required • Two years relevant experience in telephonic customer service • Must have work authorization in the Employing Country that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies • Virtual interviews must be conducted on video
