📋 Description

• Provide technical knowledge, processes, and tools to site operations teams as an electrical subject matter expert • Support new campus design, systems operations, incident root-cause analysis, training, vendor management, maintenance optimization, and troubleshooting • Drive operational standards and functional requirements in capital projects • Review drawings, contract documents, and customer requirements for electrical technical standards and capital project updates • Ensure critical infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and aligned with sustainability goals • Create operations training and development content and sponsor training for operations personnel • Conduct training, drills, and monitored evolutions across Aligned sites • Mentor and support development of high-potential personnel • Provide frameworks for site performance analytics, failure analysis, and issue resolution • Improve critical system performance, water and electrical usage efficiency, and infrastructure reliability • Drive safety culture and reduce risk and injury to personnel • Develop industry-leading operational processes and procedures • Monitor adherence to operations standards, policies, and procedures through documentation reviews, maintenance and acceptance activities, and data center audits • Develop BCP and runbook standards covering site management, vendor management, maintenance, alarms, incidents, and compliance • Provide project oversight and technical support for complex activities • Triage and recover critical equipment or systems during incidents • Perform root-cause analysis and lead incident deep-dives • Analyze incidents and equipment failures to identify trends, lessons learned, and improvement areas • Engage with industry and vendors on emerging technologies • Lead technical review and validation of new technologies • Provide technical leadership in evaluating sustainable practices • Communicate complex topics to senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and teams with varying technical experience

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years relevant electrical industry experience or electrical trade level experience • Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 4+ years relevant electrical or power generation industry experience will be considered in lieu of 8+ years electrical industry experience • SME designation in electrical equipment and systems • Advanced experience with interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications • Ability to analyze critical infrastructure sequence of operations, design parameters, alarms and indicators, and performance trends • Subject matter experience across the life cycle of data center operations from design, acceptance, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and event management • Expertise creating standards and programs for best-in-breed data center operations • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong customer service acumen • May travel at times up to 30%
