📋 Description

• Monitor, track, and prepare written legislative updates on employer leave law proposals at federal, state, and municipal levels • Draft and/or review employer leave law policies for compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements • Provide practical guidance to employers on implementing and applying leave law provisions • Provide educational support to internal account teams and sales, and marketing support to sales professionals • Write leave law content for various social media platforms • Conduct primary leave law research and manage the leave support platform • Engage daily with Employee Benefits Compliance Consultants on the impact of employee leaves on group health plan benefits • Attend client and prospect meetings as appropriate • Develop standard responses to requests for proposals for leave support services • Develop monthly topics for direct client distribution across content mediums • Maintain complete and accurate information in the agency management system • Perform other assigned duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, required • Juris Doctor, required • Three (3) or more years of related work experience, specifically advising clients and developing policies related to leaves, required • Law firm experience, preferred • Command of employee leave laws with a practical and in-depth understanding • General understanding of group health plan benefits and the interaction between benefits and employee leave law provisions • Understanding of regulatory agencies and processes that impact employee leave laws • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate complex topics in a practical way • Ability to work positively and cohesively across disciplines and areas of expertise • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills • Ability to meet deadlines
