📋 Description

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand the company’s business in the United States, mainly in the West Region • Develop and underwrite a profitable portfolio of Surety business through engagement with existing and new broker relationships • Document all decisions and recommendations consistently and transparently • Establish and maintain key relationships while building out a regional underwriting team • Conduct account and portfolio underwriting activities according to company underwriting guidelines and portfolio management requirements • Collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and internationally to leverage surety capabilities and the existing customer base • Coordinate with global Surety teams on risk and underwriting issues • Participate in industry groups and local surety events

🎯 Requirements

• College degree with emphasis in business, economics, or finance • 7 years+ of industry experience • Entrepreneurial skill set to establish and achieve goals and objectives • Established track record developing business with brokers • Proven ability to underwrite and grow a Surety portfolio • Experience developing and managing marketing plans, business plans, and budgets • Knowledge of Surety distribution channels and experience managing relationships with regional brokers • Recognized expertise in underwriting surety accounts and risks • Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
