📋 Description

• Remain actively logged into assigned on-call telephone queues • Determine clients' needs and required EAP services • Screen for safety issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, and other high-risk considerations • Connect clients to on-call counselors when needed • Complete EAP Intake Forms in the EAP Expert database system • Assign EAP staff or affiliates to client cases when appropriate • Connect clients to affiliate providers in their geographic area or EAP staff professionals • Provide general information and referrals regarding legal, financial, and work-life concerns • Maintain sensitivity to confidentiality and customer service needs of member employees, dependents, and employer customers

🎯 Requirements

• Entry level position • Capable of using IT support applications • Comfortable employing telephone presence and relating to clients • Strong customer service skills • Excellent common sense and good judgment • Flexible with break and lunch times due to high call volume staffing • Comfortable working in a team environment • Flexible with day-to-day job assignments • Excellent IT applications and database skills • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Professional call center/scheduling experience a plus • Reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50Mbps and 10Mbps upload stream • Strong customer service commitment • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office programs
