📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team handling complex, attorney-represented bodily injury claims • Develop and execute strategies to drive strong employee performance and consistent, expert claims handling • Monitor staffing levels and workloads • Provide coaching and mentoring • Participate in performance management and reviews • Address escalated customer situations • Support unit goal-setting and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture • Manage a team of attorney-represented bodily injury adjusters supporting West Coast claims operations • Participate in special projects as a subject matter expert • Manage and oversee vendor performance • Oversee responses to highly complex arbitrations contentions • Oversee negotiation of highly complex claim settlements • Oversee resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues • Analyze unit reports and support achievement of business unit objectives • Define, analyze, and track department, section, and/or unit measures • Review employee work quality and customer interactions through ride-alongs, sit-alongs, and file reviews • Supervise employees

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced bodily injury claims professional ready for leadership progression • Experience handling complex, attorney-represented bodily injury claims • Claims expertise, including claims operations and claims processing • Coaching and mentoring skills • Conflict management skills • Employee supervision and team management experience • Leadership and negotiation skills • Availability during Pacific Time Zone business hours • Authorization to work in the United States • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Ability to oversee highly complex arbitrations contentions and claim settlements
