📋 Description

• Adjudicate VSC mechanical claims according to established quality and timeliness guidelines • Review repair estimates related to vehicle breakdowns • Verify coverage eligibility and determine whether repairs are covered under customers’ Vehicle Service Contracts • Negotiate and settle basic and occasionally moderately complex claims • Investigate claim files, review damage, take photos, and determine reparability or total loss • Prepare damage estimates and locate parts • Document claim files with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process • Complete other tasks as directed by management • Work without supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Beginner-level resource for adjudicating VSC mechanical claims • Strong automotive or mechanical background • Comfortable evaluating vehicle repairs and estimates • Located in an Eastern or Central time zone state • Background investigation required • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
