📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents • Determine coverage, liability, damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Handle coverage and liability investigations on auto claims, including diminished value claims • Determine coverage and liability rather than writing vehicle appraisals • Coordinate inspections and work with the appraisal process as needed • Partner with fraud or subrogation representatives to achieve the best outcome • Recognize and identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage • Identify customer needs and address them using appropriate customer service skills • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle it • Apply intermediate understanding of company and industry insurance policies and organizational relationships • Investigate all aspects of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with discretion and independence • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates located in Eastern time zone states • Responsible for claims across Northeastern states • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Employer does not sponsor individuals for work visas • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Knowledge of automobile accidents and vehicle body parts • Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, liability, subrogation, and fraud • Customer service skills • Analytical thinking, negotiation, claims administration, case management, claims review, and licensing knowledge
