📋 Description

• Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims • Handle non-represented claims • Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and assess damages • Negotiate and settle claims according to established guidelines and best practices • Work directly with claimants, insureds, witnesses, and other involved parties • Conduct recorded statements • Prepare clear and concise claim summaries • Maintain detailed claim files, notes, summaries, and decision rationale • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient, customer-centric claim handling • Complete training Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:45 PM • Work Monday–Friday within operating hours of 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional rotational Saturdays

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in LA, TX, AR, FL, GA, AL, or MS at the time of hire • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail with solid critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Comfortable using technology and learning claims-related software and tools • Must obtain all required adjuster licenses within 60 days of hire • Must maintain all licensing required for the role, including continuing education and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Position is not available for California, Alaska, Washington, or Hawaii residents • Dedicated private workspace at home, free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download / 5 MB upload • Appropriate work surface and seating • Required to submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
