📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving bodily injury • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service through voice calls, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Conduct liability investigations and make ultimate liability decisions • Identify injured parties beyond those listed at First Notice of Loss • Recognize impactful risk potential on claim files • Support claimants throughout the vehicle restoration process • Provide feedback on the Auto process • Collaborate with Casualty Adjusters throughout the claims process • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate claim progress using customers’ preferred channels • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies to evaluate and negotiate settlements • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Document claim work accurately and on time in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of claims experience, specifically a Casualty Bodily Injury claims background • Claims investigation and negotiation experience preferred • Experience with liability investigations, coverage investigation, PD coverage, set MOI, rental, and liability resolution is a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially by phone • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work remotely from a home office in the United States within one of the listed time zones • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download / 5 MB upload • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must participate on camera during online meetings and trainings • Regular, predictable attendance is essential • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if required by the office/area • Candidates are subject to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
