📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice calls, email, text messages, and sometimes video chat • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Conduct detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements using legal and business standard methodologies • Handle challenging and complex negotiation situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Protect the company financially by executing policies according to policy agreements • Keep customers updated on claim progress and accommodate communication preferences

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling represented third-party Bodily Injury claims • Experience managing severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims • Experience handling claims in Texas, Louisiana, and/or Arkansas • Extensive knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis is a plus • Experience using NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center is a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office in the United States; position unavailable to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico • Dedicated private home office workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Applicable adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire • Background investigation required • Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments and may not hold outside appointments during employment • Must not have a resident producer license unless formally surrendered when instructed • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas
