📋 Description

• Exercise independent discretion and judgment in claims handling involving complex liability issues, including coverage issues and minor injury claims • Conduct investigations and evaluate and make recommendations regarding coverage and liability • Set and maintain reserves • Obtain documents to establish claim value and negotiate settlements or decline claims • Document files and submit final reports • Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate appropriate action • Negotiate with all parties or their representatives within designated authority • Complete required training • Train and mentor • Travel for training may be required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Two years of claims or customer service experience required, preferably with casualty claims • Equivalent educational experience will be considered • Appropriate license(s) as required by state(s) of operation • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred • Ability to complete required training • Regular and predictable attendance • Occasional driving and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs
