📋 Description

• Investigate and validate details of loss for large loss complex homeowners claims, typically valued above $250,000 • Determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate claim settlements within assigned authority • Handle complex or specialized Homeowners first-party claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation • Retain and expand expertise in residential construction and repair, structural integrity, home systems, and evolving building techniques • Identify complex customer needs and resolve them using advanced customer service skills • Determine subrogation or fraud potential, recommend handling approaches, and suggest process improvements • Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational relationships • Mentor and develop junior staff through estimate review, reinspection, ride-alongs, and other techniques • Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve the best outcome • Address and resolve escalated concerns for premium customers in a timely and professional manner • Participate in an on-call rotation to support premier customer needs

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Desk Property Lead Consultant Claims professional • Strong background handling high-volume, large loss complex homeowners claims, including losses above $250K • Expertise writing and reviewing complex repair estimates • Experience managing high-value properties • Ability to own claims from start to finish across dwelling, contents, ALE, mitigation, and supplements exposures • Preferred insurance carrier experience along with field exposure • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with independent adjusters and cross-functional teams • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach • Ability to navigate storm, water, and hail claims • Proven excellent customer service and escalation support • Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation • Applicable active insurance licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License • As a requirement of employment, holders of active insurance licenses must terminate existing appointments and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Must possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
