📋 Description

• Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims • Lead claims to proper disposition across auto or specialty lines • Train and mentor others • Control quality and provide technical assistance on material damage claims • Apply estimating fundamentals to material damage losses of all severities • Apply knowledge of all policy types written by the company • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files across multiple lines • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines • Support the Springfield, MO territory as a virtual, field-based employee • Travel regularly to customer locations, repair facilities, and body shops • Support CAT response efforts as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years field claims experience with a strong understanding of claims handling, estimating, and vehicle damage assessment • Proficiency with CCC ONE • Ability to write accurate estimates and negotiate claim settlements • Experience working with customers, repair facilities, and other claim stakeholders • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player • Candidates must reside in or near Springfield, MO • Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations, repair facilities, and body shops • Willingness to travel as needed in support of CAT response efforts • Authorization to work in the United States; company does not sponsor work visas • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
