📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for advanced homeowner claims • Determine coverage and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Create or audit comprehensive damage estimates for first-party homeowner claims • Support Illinois suburbs, primarily Kane and Cook Counties, with coverage extending into DuPage County as needed • Handle water-related losses, roof claims, and interior losses, including high-value and complex property claims • Understand policy content across all company-written policy types • Build relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Property Field Adjuster • Strong communication, customer service, and property claims expertise • Deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company • Strong estimating fundamentals for first-party homeowner losses with complexity • Experience handling water-related losses, roof claims, and interior losses, including high-value and complex claims • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Authorization to work in the United States • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Xactimate and Xactimate Estimating
