📋 Description

• Deliver claim service from first notice of loss through resolution • Travel throughout Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties to inspect property damage • Investigate coverage and evaluate losses related to weather, water, wind, and other property losses • Prepare or audit damage estimates using Xactimate • Negotiate settlements and make settlement payments • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Guide customers through the claims process • Handle claims through in-person field inspections and virtual inspection technology • Document activities in complex files across multiple lines • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Manage personal schedule and daily routing while meeting customer commitments and business expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Claims experience preferred • Deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company • Strong estimating fundamentals for creating or auditing estimates of damages on complex first-party homeowners' losses • Experience with Xactimate • Knowledge of business case analyses, case management, claims administration, insurance claims, property claims, quality management, relationship management, and time management • Ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership, peers, contractors, vendors, and customers • Ability to travel throughout Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties • Ideal candidate will live in Central or Southern New Jersey • Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor work visas • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
