📋 Description

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish • Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements within assigned authority • Manage the entire claim lifecycle, including supplements, Additional Living Expense claims, contents, and personal property losses • Conduct inspections and prepare estimates • Review supplements and handle contents claims • Assist customers with additional living expense coverage • Work closely with customers, contractors, and other partners • Deliver clear, timely communication and keep customers informed throughout the claims process • Create or audit estimates of damages on first-party homeowner losses • Evaluate settlement alternatives for regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Make settlement payments and document activities in complex files across multiple lines • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Field Property Adjuster • Lives within 20 miles of Austin, Texas • Experience using Xactimate • Active adjuster license, or eligibility to obtain a reciprocal license where required • Experience working both in the field and from a desk is preferred • Deep understanding of policy types written by the company • Strong estimating fundamentals for first-party homeowner losses with complexity • Analytical thinking, customer satisfaction, negotiation, organizing, property claims, and Xactimate skills • Authorization to work in the United States • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating for home workspace • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
