📋 Description

• Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims • Handle non-represented claims • Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements • Work directly with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties • Ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle • Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare clear, concise claim summaries • Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses • Evaluate auto claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages • Negotiate and settle claims according to established guidelines and best practices • Maintain detailed claim files, including notes, summaries, and decision rationale • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient, customer-centric claim handling • Work Monday–Friday within operating hours of 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional rotational Saturdays; complete training Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:45 PM

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside at the time of hire in MD, OH, KS, WV, VA, IN, MN, NE, IL, WI, IA, ND, SD, MI, OK, KY, or MO • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills • Comfortable using technology and learning claims-related software and tools • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must obtain all required adjuster licenses within 60 days of hire if required • Must maintain required licenses, continuing education, and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
