📋 Description

• Investigate basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims • Handle non-represented claims • Evaluate coverage, determine liability, and assess damages • Negotiate and settle claims according to established guidelines and best practices • Work directly with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle • Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare claim summaries • Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses • Maintain detailed claim files, notes, summaries, and decision rationale • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient, customer-centric claim handling • Complete training Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:45 PM; work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, with occasional rotational Saturdays

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in NY, NC, SC, PA, NJ, or DE at the time of hire • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Critical-thinking and decision-making skills • Comfortable using technology and learning claims-related software and tools • Must obtain all required adjuster licenses within 60 days of hire • Must maintain all licensing required for the role, including continuing education and other state-affiliated renewal requirements • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Appropriate work surface and seating • Subject to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Position is not available for California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii residents
