📋 Description

• Analyze and process mitigation, restoration, abatement or mediation invoices for payment to ensure accurate payment amounts • Deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair and easy to support customer retention • Work independently, prioritize responsibilities and manage workload • Meet job-level behavior, production, quality and/or customer service goals • Use technical skills and experience to ensure invoices are reviewed timely and properly • Research and respond to moderately complex and occasionally complex customer/vendor communications, concerns, conflicts or issues • Develop and deliver training • Advise management on coaching and mentoring opportunities • Assist in assessing unit needs for training and development • Lead or facilitate formal training for adjusters, processors or vendors • Analyze mitigation, abatement and remediation bills to assess charge appropriateness and detect duplicate billings • Reinspect or review vendor mitigation, abatement, remediation or estimates; make corrections and recommendations; determine correct settlement amounts • Analyze vendor usage and identify ways to improve vendor partnerships • Develop, manage and audit relationships with vendors in the Allstate preferred vendor network • Summarize documents and enter notes into the claim system • Document claim files with notes, evaluations and the decision-making process

🎯 Requirements

• Mitigation, restoration, abatement or mediation experience working with a vendor • Property claims experience with mitigation, restoration, and abatement, including reviewing invoices and estimating settlement amounts • Strong organizational skills in pending assignment management • One to two years of estimate proficiency in Xactimate preferred • IICRC certifications are a plus • Strong communication and customer focus, with the ability to explain decisions clearly and interact with empathy • Negotiation and vendor management skills, including resolving issues, addressing discrepancies, and partnering effectively with vendors • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review data, identify billing issues, and make sound decisions independently • Required to work a Pacific Time Zone schedule; applicants from Pacific and Mountain time preferred • Must submit to a background investigation • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
