📋 Description

• Travel to customers’ homes to conduct on-site inspections • Investigate coverage and review property damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms and software including Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Focus expertise on water losses • Provide compassionate, clear, and empathetic customer service to policyholders • Investigate property claims independently and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Complete timely and accurate claim documentation and maintain clear records in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 4 years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired • Experience handling claims involving multiple trades and losses over $100,000 • Proficiency using Xactimate and other relevant estimating software • Strong critical thinking and technical skills for accurately assessing damages and expediting settlements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel to customers’ homes and handle virtual claims countrywide • Detail-oriented and organized • Residency within the posted location is mandatory • Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel • Applicants with active insurance licenses must terminate existing appointments before onboarding and hold no outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Ability to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire if required • Successful completion of applicable additional background check • Attendance at approximately 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Background investigation required
