📋 Description

• Lead a team of technology enablement experts, data analytics professionals, and process redesign specialists • Collaborate with IT partners, legal technology engineers, and knowledge engineers to optimize AI systems for transactional workflows • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives and customer needs • Lead the strategic vision for the legal technology architecture and development of legal systems • Oversee technology transformation work including contract lifecycle management, intake, compliance, ELM, and legal operations-led process improvement initiatives • Build reliable, auditable, and data-based AI-native and agentic systems using LLMs that integrate human-in-the-loop review • Advance Allstate’s Legal Technology and Artificial Intelligence initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience • Prior experience in a law firm, legal technology provider, regulated professional services organization, or other highly confidential environment • Understanding of attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, and the legal and ethical duties • Experience building and/or refining MCP servers and designing evaluation/guardrail frameworks for autonomous agents • Familiarity with legal-specific platforms and use cases (document review, contract analysis, legal research, drafting) • Background that combines software/AI engineering with exposure to litigation, eDiscovery, or knowledge management • Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; an advanced degree or JD is a plus but not required in lieu of practical engineering experience
